The US-New England States and East Canada are the most beautiful areas to visit in autumn, when the „Indian Summer“ turns leaves to a coloured firework in different tones of yellow, orange and red. The blaze of colour in the forest is just breath-taking and amazing, especially if they reflect in one of the thousand waters, but there is also a lot of culture to discover. In Montreal, which is set on an Island in the Saint Lawrence River, you will find one of the most exciting food scenes and a typical francophone life style. Driving down the Scenic Route 100, running along the eastern edge of the Green Mountains in the State Vermont, is just unforgettable and makes it one of the most picturesque journeys for fall foliage viewing. Finally reaching New York or „Big Apple“, my favourite city, which is so impressive that you need to visit it more than once. It is not only the epicentre of the arts and culture but also the capital of dining and shopping and the trendsetter of the world.
